Choir

We are very fortunate in Combe to still have a village choir. Few of the smaller parishes have been able to sustain the tradition of choral singing.

Our Choir Director is Deborah Manning. The choir meets for practices once a week on Wednesday evenings and performs in the church twice in each month together with Evensong and other special services.

The choir has some 19 members with perhaps 10 to 12 in regular attendance. Anybody who would like to join is most welcome and should initially get in touch with Deborah.

Music

We have an electronic organ (above centre) with two manuals made by Eminent in Holland and bought in 2013.

While we are not a church that has embraced guitars (save at All Age Worship), drums and other contemporary instruments nor indeed modern songs, we are extremely open-minded about these things.
