Taizé Service
Sunday 12 October - 5-6pm • St Laurence’s Church
Join us for a special service of candle light, chants, readings and prayers in the style of the Taizé Community in Burgundy.
The ecumenical Taizé Community was formed by Brother Roger Schulz in the 1940s and continues to inspire people
throughout the world by its contemplative form of worship and powerful use of song, silence and prayer.
The Church Choir and School Choir will lead us in singing some of the beautiful Taizé chants, accompanied by a group of instrumentalists.
